Dr. Kiser began her career in the Greater Houston area, serving in Fort Bend ISD and Katy ISD before transitioning into district leadership with Denton ISD. She spent seven years as Assistant Athletic Director in Denton ISD, where she helped lead program development, coach support, and operational excellence across secondary athletics.

A former three-sport letterman, Dr. Kiser competed as a Division I volleyball student-athlete at Southern University and A&M College and was inducted into the university’s Sports Hall of Fame in 2023. Her professional leadership includes serving as Policy Chair for the THSADA, a member of the Communication and Collaboration Committee and ROCK Mentor for the THSCA, and an active member of the NIAA.

A first-generation college graduate, Dr. Kiser earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Southern University, a Master of Science in Sport Management from the University of Florida, and a Doctorate in Education from Northcentral University. Her leadership philosophy centers on building strong programs, developing coaches, and creating meaningful opportunities for student-athletes to thrive.

Dr. Kiser is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and is deeply committed to her family. She and her husband, Dr. Charles Kiser, have three children: Austin, a junior collegiate track and field athlete; Tyler, a college freshman; and Brooklyn, a high school senior and volleyball player.
